tom hunt
Tom came to Christ at the age of seven. He’s grateful for the effort made by his second grade Sunday school teacher (thank you, Mrs. Truxten!). Raised in a single-mom home, Tom has a keen sense of the challenges men face who are raised without a dad in their journey.
Having served as a senior business leader in a broad variety of industries, Tom can clearly see how the Lord intends to use his experience (both success and failure) to mentor and serve other men as they move through their own journey of Christian Manhood.
As part of his pursuit of the mission of Faithful Forge, Tom leads a community of men at Bible Study Fellowship, facilitates a number of BetterMan groups, and serves the community at The Parks Church in McKinney.
Tom and his bride, Helen, have three married daughters and six high-octane grandkids. God is good!

Emily smith
Emily Smith is a North Carolina girl turned Texan! After growing up and attending college in NC, Emily found her way to Dallas and has made TX her home. She spent 20 years working in Software Sales and recently started her own business teaching Children’s Etiquette Classes. Through the ministry of Young Life, Emily heard the Gospel and began her relationship with Jesus. She later served as a Young Life leader and most recently served in a young adult ministry at her church, Watermark Community Church. A church info session about foster care and adoption opened the door for vulnerable children and Emily welcomed her first child into her home in 2020, clinging tightly to the promises of God for both her and her new baby…”I will never leave you or forsake you.” The tides of foster care shifted and a soon after baby #1 was reunified with her family, baby #2 arrived. Being unmarried at the time, Emily longed for a spouse and her Prince Charming took the package deal of his life…a wife and her beautiful daughter. Adoption, engagement, wedding, and a pregnancy quickly followed and now the Smiths are a family of four!
Preston and Emily serve at their church, leading their small group and participating in the Foster Care and Adoption ministry. Emily is a proud member of One Hundred Shares, Bible Study Fellowship and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League. Preston enjoys his time with Brothers in Christ, Watermark’s CLC, and Bonton Farms.

The Lord saved me in college at UT Dallas through the faithful ministry of Campus Outreach. Through this ministry, I met my husband Travis and we are now raising three children in Richardson, TX.
After college, I went to PA school and now work part time as a physician assistant at UT Southwestern Cancer Center. It has been a great blessing to walk alongside these patients and their families through their cancer journey.
More recently, I have been blessed to pray with and for the people of DeliverZen. It has been such a joy to see how God is moving among this company.
My family serves at Mosaic Church in Richardson, leading a home group and volunteering in the pre-school ministry.
I cling tightly to Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3. It is such a sweet reminder of God’s great power, love, presence - and that all things we do are for His glory.
