Serve the Suffering (2) ...

A dear friend of mine posted this to his Facebook page last week. It is from a sermon by David Platt when he quoted Richard Stearns (the president of World Vision)... Warning, it's powerful.

"25,000 children die everyday around the world of starvation & curable diseases. That's equal to 100 full planes dropping out of the sky everyday. When 1 plane goes down, people are outraged and teams are put together to find out what happened. Children are dying! Where is the outrage? Where are the committees? Where are we Christians?"

Friends, Loved Ones, Children of God... Let's do something about this! We must act. We must serve the suffering. We must obey Christ's calling today...lives are depending on it.
