A Bible Reading P.R.O.C.E.S.S.

If you had a system to read scripture that helped you pull out applicable information every time, would you read it more?

Well, here is a P. R. O. C. E. S. S. for reading the Bible...with two P’s & R’s :)

Here’s the goal… take a passage of scripture and read it. Then re-read it asking yourself a different question each time as you work your way through it. The passage can even be small but you will get a lot out of it. It is this simple…

First…

P. Pray: Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

Then, read and ask these questions…

P. Praise:

What can I praise God for? Are there blessings to enjoy?

R. Remission:

What sins do I need to confess and forsake?

R. Remember:

What verse/s should I remember & meditate on this day/this week etc.

In other words…what verse/s strike me or hit home that I need to dwell on.

O. Oaths / Promises of God:

What promises of God do I see and how can Ikeep these promises?

C. Commands:

What commands do I need to obey?

E. Examples to follow:

What examples should I follow and what examples should I NOT follow?

S. Scriptures to Pray:

What scriptures can I hold fast to & askGod to fulfill in my life and others?

S. Scriptures that Encourage…

What scriptures really encourage me?
