God Knows What You Need Before You Ask Him...

Matthew 6:7-8 (NIV) "7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." (emphasis added)

In the past seven or eight weeks, I have personally watched our Heavenly Father meet the needs of my family. We did not "earn" His blessings or "deserve" them in anyway, quite the opposite in fact. But, despite all of our faults and failures, our shortcomings and weaknesses, He has graciously provided for us over and over again. Oh, how great our God is. How humbling and awesome is His mercy. Indeed it is true... He knows our needs before we even ask. Thank you Jesus for your abounding love and mercy.
