Serve the Suffering...
Matthew 25:35 "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,"
After Jesus makes this statement, the people ask... when did we see you thirsty or hungry or invite you in? In which he replied, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Will you join us in helping "the least of these" during this time of need in Haiti?
There is a great organization that needs your donations, specifically for water purification systems right now.
The "Texas Baptist Men" have a shipment of 5000 water filters going to Haiti immediately. It takes the worst water in the world and makes in drinkable and clean. One filter ($30) lasts a family of 4, six months and meets their most critical need. http://www.texasbaptistmen.org/DNN/Donations/tabid/82/Default.aspx
Also, with every water filter they send, they are also providing a tract in Haitian Creole that tells the recipient of the filter about the "living water" of Jesus Christ and the good news of His gospel.
