He Bears Our Burdens

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. - Psalm 68:19 (NIV 84)

Sometimes it can feel like the burdens of this world are a bit overwhelming...sick kids, busy schedules, sleepless nights and on & on & on. You know the drill.

As I was reading a bedtime story to my daughter last night, the verse above popped out at me (Ps 68:19.)

The part that stuck out to me the most was "daily". All day, everyday, God gives us grace for the moments of life we face, one at a time. We aren't promised an easy road or a smooth path, but we are promised His presence. As the Scripture says of our LORD..."I will never leave you or forsake you."

How comforting it is to know that He walks with us and carries our burdens DAILY!
