We lost our little buddy Shadrach this month. He was a 5lb Chihuahuah that my wife and I adopted a little over 4 yrs ago and grew to love more than I realized. He brought a lot of laughs and enjoyable moments into our lives and will surely be missed. As we have gone through many emotions over this loss and cried more than expected, it got me thinking about you, my readers...

I can only imagine all of the hurts and pains, frustrations and losses that you may have faced this year as well, and because of that I wish to encourage you. If your year has been full of bumps and bruises, please don't let another day pass without knowing that you are loved and you are not alone. For if you are a child of the King, rest assured that Jesus "will never leave you or forsake you" and "He puts all your tears in a bottle." Sometimes, He may not keep the trial from coming our way but just as He wept with Mary and the Jews in the story of Lazarus, I believe that He too weeps with us.
