That The Work of God Might Be Displayed in Her Life

John 9:1-3
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

This week, my wife and I found out that our daughter Sevyn (10 weeks old) has leukocoria. Basically, she is blind in one eye. I believe the Lord reminded me of this verse today to give us strength and courage in the days to come. We don't know what the future holds, but we are certain that the work of God will be displayed in and through her life.

We will rejoice in God our Savior regardless of what may come our way. For we know that "what the devil means for evil, God plans for good."
